Upgrades

• January 2002
• Purchased N7246W from Plymouth, NC.
• Replaced tail beacon with Whelen strobe
• February-April 2002
• Repaired EGT gauge
• Repaired fresh air vents
• Replaced tachometer. Returned new tachometer to factory position
• Installed Davtron chronometer (clock)
• May 2002 - (Sparkchasers Aircraft Services Smithfield, NC)
  • Installed KMA-24 audio panel.
  • Added glideslope receiver board to KX155 radio
  • Replaced KI-208 indicator with KI-209 glideslope indicator
  • Created avionics bus and installed circuit breakers for each radio
• June 2002
  • Replaced airspeed indicator with overhauled and re-screened unit.
  • Replaced static lines in tail cone.
  • Received IFR certification
• October 2002 (Sparkchasers)
• Installed UPS GX-60 GPS/Comm. IFR approach certified
• Replaced portable intercom with PS Engineering PM-501 built-in unit.
