Yes, it’s hard to believe, but I’m still alive!
I apologize for not posting in an incredibly long time. Needless to say, I’ve been really busy. We just had a major deadline at work last week and I’ve been cranking pretty hard to make it.
Heather and I have also done some vacationing. In the first half of July, we spent 10 days in New York and Washington, DC. What’s that you say? You want to see pictures? Well, like always we’re still working on them. What? You don’t believe me? Well check out this sneak preview. I’ve still got 4 more rolls of film to scan and color correct. I hope to have them posted by the end of the week. I promise :-)
We’ve also had two weekend vacations. Our trip to the beach with the Jetts was a fun day. We flew down to Manteo, ate food, watched kites, and stuck our feet in the water. We have pictures of that as well that I’ll scan after New York.
Also, I spent this past weekend at Sam’s parents’ river cottage on the Rappahannock River in Virginia. They have upgraded the place with a larger bedroom, new siding, new plumbing, air conditioning and a new front porch. While it was great before, it’s even nicer now. I don’t have any pictures, but I can steal some of Sam’s. Here’s one: click here.
