OK, I'm a slacker. I haven't posted anything in a real long time.
Things have been going great. I've been flying every weekend (except for this one). The job is going stunningly well. Mike's coming over tomorrow and we're going to have a listening party. (Similar to a wine tasting, except with stereos). Also, next weekend Mike, Janice, Heather, and I are flying down to the beach for the day. It's so great having them living in town again.
I'm still continuing my quest to learn everything I can about weather (for flying). I'm checking the charts and forecasts twice a day to compare forecasts to reality. I've gotten pretty good a guessing winds by looking at surface charts and anticipating pressure system movement. Most of the recent NWS forecasts have been pretty accurate in telling you what's going to happen, but have gotten the timing wrong. Today is a notable exception, as they said "light rain" :-)
