My Archives: February 2004Saturday, February 28, 2004 I’ve been seeing this movie called Startup.com in the video store for a while now. I finally got up the nerve to rent it. Well, in short it was amazing! It was like reliving a shortened version of Alerts.com all over again. 5 stars! Wednesday, February 11, 2004 Biased headline alert. WRAL.com used the headline "Adults Continue to Risk Kids' Lives in Vehicles" for an article about kids riding in the front seats of cars. How about "Government Mandated Safety Devices Continue to Risk Kids' Lives" instead. Or "Hey, remember how cool it was to ride in the front seat when you were a kid? Well, today's you can't do that because kneejerk federal legislation requires front seat airbags even though they can knock your child's head off and the automakers refuse to make them defeatable because some idiot will turn them off and sue them and besides that way they can require you to buy an overpriced SUV or minivan so your 0.3 kid can have somewhere to sit". |
